In 1998, I quit smoking and started running. In 2000, I found a used bike, borrowed a wetsuit and decided to enter my first triathlon. I have not looked back and have been racing ever since.

I have competed in over 100 endurance events, including multiple Ironmans and marathons. In 2008, I qualified to the Ironman World Championships in Kona by placing second in my age group at Ironman Arizona. In 2009, I completed Ironman Kona, placing top 20 in the world in my age group.

I have placed top 5 in many events, and in 2008, won my age group at the USAT Long Course Nationals, which qualified me for the USAT World Long Course. I also qualified for Ironman World Championship 70.3 in 2007 and 2008.

I have been ranked by USAT as Triathlon All-American, 2009. My local tri club, Triathlon Club of San Diego, has recognized me as Female Ironman Athlete of 2008.

I want to thank Her Sports for sponsoring me in 2008 and Zoot in 2009. I am extremely proud to announce I will be racing for the Colnago Triathlon Team for 2010.
